Love it!!! Especially since it’s something that can be used at any time. So cool!! I love all the different ways to review the books or book-club ideas!!!
Tracking is simple to keep up. Customizable pages are helpful for tracking things like upcoming releases or books purchased yet to be read.
I would like to start out by saying, I read a lot, like 220+ books per year. My review will differ from those who read a couple of books per week. For those who read 1-5 books per week, this is a 5-star planner. Again, my review is based on a 3-12 books per week reader. I have used the Kellofaplan Reading Planner since the year they first came out.
The things I loved about the new planner: The planner is stunning! It's absolutely the prettiest planner to date from Kellofaplan! It's undated so I can use my decorative date stickers. The monthly reading list was moved to the front of the month, so I see the overview at the beginning. The Monthly Reads Page is arranged well. The recap at the top of the weekly reading pages is helpful and the way the tracker is designed. is better than the previous year. The Book Club pages and Review pages at the back of the book are very useful, if that's your thing. I don't use the Review pages, but I use the Book Club pages with every Book Club event I attend.
The things I are an issue for me:
1. The Monthly Reading List doesn't have enough lines for my reading the majority of the months. In the prior planner the blank page followed the Monthly Reading List so I could just continue onward recording. Now the page is separated by the weekly pages.
2. The Weekly Reading on the Monday-Friday portion: I don't like the headings (What I'm Reading, Thoughts on Reading and Total Read Each Day). I read 3 books at a time, so these headings don't work for me at all. I wish the headings were blank so I could make my own. As it stands, I'll need to come up with stickers to cover every week. The past journals gave me tons of room to record when I started and when I finished a book. This planner is very limited on space to record starting and finishing books. See example below of the current KOP planner.
3. The bottom of the Weekly Reading Page: Reviews is a wasted space unless you don't read many books or you only use star ratings. The bookshelf only works if you read 6 of less books.
In conclusion, I plan on using this reading planner for 2026, I will have to make a lot of adjustments which will be a pain, but I don't think there's a better reading planner for me. I have placed a picture example of the current Kellofaplan weekly that I'm using to show the spacing for those who may not have the previous planner.
